once again, aim issues

I've been meaning to update, but I've been sort of out of it. We went to Haworth on Wednesday. Saw the Bronte Parsonage. It was amazing. The way they lived was just so interesting. They wrote books as children that were smaller than the palm of my hand out of scrap paper. You can't read them without a magnifying glass. It's crazy.

Friday we went to Conwy in Wales. We went to Conwy castle and it was freaking sweet. I climbed like 3 towers. The view was incredible too. We went to the Smallest House in Great Britain. Even I had to duck to get in the front door. Shocking, truly. We also toured a manor built in 1580. It's supposed to be haunted, but I'm pretty sure it just had creaky floors.

I ended up buying two necklaces in Conwy. Add this to the Hematite rosary I bought in Chester... I like jewelry. I can't help it. There was a necklace in Haworth that I loved but it was like 55 pounds...which is basicallly $110. It's a sickness!

Much to my dismay though Friday night during the England v. Brazil match my side started to hurt.

I've never hated anything as much as I hate this pain. It's appallingly demoralizing. Yesterday I was amazed that I was able to walk into town to buy ibuprofen. Freaking stunned really. Maybe it's getting better, I don't know. I mean today I was able to walk to the campus store for food. I don't know if I should really let myself even get my hopes up though.

In less than two hours the Diner will open and I can eat my first meal in about 24 hours. I should be excited.

I really hope I feel good enough to go to Blackpool tomorrow. They have rollercoasters.

Wouldn't post to my lj last night so I'm putting it here for now

Wednesday we went to the Lake District and Windermere. Saw Wordsworth's house. Went on a cruise on a 200 year old boat. Came back to campus and watched the AC Milan v. Liverpool game. Perhaps most interestingly, it was the first time I've ever been drunk. I even phoned in a confession to a friend.

Today was nice. Very chill. Went to class, went shopping in town, got a cellphone, hair dye. Came back, dyed my hair, and headed to the pub for Karaoke. ...Karaoke was Wednesday night. Came back, watched Casino Royale in the Common room. Am officially "an Openshaw" for climbing in the window and making a racial joke. Am officially ginger.

Had a long talk with a drunk person about limiting their drunkenness.

Crazy much fun good time on all counts.

If you can't tell I'm trying really hard to update daily so I'll be able to remember everything later. Cheesy, yes, but necessary. Sorry this entry isn't entertaining. I'm tired...as in really fucking tired. Not really too many complete sentences.

Cheers.

Aquifer Mamma Jamma

How's that for random?

In other news, life is expensive, but I'm happy.
